CSD - CHRISTOPHER STREET DAY

Cristopher Street day is held in memory of June 28th 1969, when the first uprising of LGBT people against police assaults took place at the Stonewall Inn, a bar on Christopher Street in Greenwich Village, New York. A year after these Stonewall Riots the first parades for the rights of the LGBT community took place in New York and Los Angeles. Today, even if often being critiqued for having become too commercial, they are celebrated in all major and liberal cities around the world.

These pictures I shoot during CSD 2018 in Munich.
